+We develop precise workflows and estimated costs for all projects upfront. Your Project Partner will run all updated project timelines, costs, and success criteria by you before each iteration to ensure our results meet or exceed every expectation.
How does Pareto’s membership plan work?
+Our membership plans add Pareto Credits to your account each month. Your credits reflect the funds you have in your account to use on projects.
Pareto Credits are automatically applied to your project charge. If you use up all your Pareto Credits, you can pay as you go for credits, upgrade your plan, or hold projects until your membership credits refresh.
You can earn Pareto Credits by referring Pareto to your friends, sending us feedback, and trying out new features.
How do membership plans save me money on Pareto projects?
+Pareto members on the Startup or Growth plan save 10% or 15% on the estimated price of Pareto projects.
Do Pareto Credits roll over?
+Pareto Credits from membership plans are valid for 3 to 12 months from the date of issue with an active plan. If you end your Pareto membership, your credits will be lost with your membership benefits.
How much will my project cost?
+Before we start new projects, we give an upfront price estimate based on the quantity and complexity of work expected, including the costs of any required tools or training. Based on our estimate, you can set your project budget to iterate on new workflows before scaling the quantity of results.
Your final project cost may vary depending on the actual quantity and complexity of work delivered or any revision of the project workflow.
How do I control my spending?
+Set your project budget before starting each project iteration and pause your project at any time. Set a higher budget to get more results each week. If your project is urgent, add priority delivery to get results in hours not days.
When you set a budget, you agree to be charged up to but not exceeding your budget when your results are delivered.
How do I add Pareto Credits to my account?
+Additional Pareto Credits can be added at any time by paying-as-you-go for projects or upgrading your subscription plan.
How are Pareto Credits applied?
+When selecting credits to apply, Pareto prioritizes your credits based on the following parameters: (1) Soonest to expire and (2) Oldest credit.
What happens if my payment fails? Like if my credit card expires?
+You'll be notified over email after any failed payment and your active projects will be paused. Payments may be retried up to 4 times within the next month. After this, if the payment does not succeed, your account will be marked inactive.
What are my payment options?
+All payments are made via credit card. For accounts on the Enterprise plan, we can issue an annual invoice with payment via PO and/or ACH, wire, or check. Please contact

Can I change my payment method?
+Can I change my plan later?
+Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. If you choose to upgrade, your Pareto Credits will be billed and available immediately. If you choose to downgrade, your status will update on next month's statement.
How do I cancel my paid plan?
+Your Pareto subscription, annual or monthly, will automatically renew until you cancel it. You can cancel your subscription by emailing billing@hellopareto.com. After you cancel, you'll still have access to all your credits until the end of your billing cycle.
How do refunds work?
+Our refund policy is simple. If you believe you've made a mistake signing up for a paid Pareto subscription, please contact us at billing@hellopareto.com. We'll be happy to refund you the full amount if you have not used any credits within 72 hours of signing up for monthly billing, or within 30 days of signing up for annual billing. And if for any reason you're unhappy with Pareto, please let us know at team@hellopareto.com — we'd love to hear your feedback, and will be happy to work with you to create the best experience possible.
Do you have a Service-Level Agreement (SLA)?
+We do not offer a standard SLA. For accounts on the Enterprise plan, we can offer a custom SLA. Contact sales to learn more.
Why do you need my billing information if I have credits to pay for Pareto?
+We still require your billing information, even if you have enough credits to make your first bill $0 because you may run out of credit in the future and we need to be able to charge your account.
How is my payment processed?
+We use Stripe to process your payment. It's the same payment provider used by companies such as Twitter, Pinterest, and Lyft. We do not handle your credit card information directly.
Can I belong to multiple teams on Pareto?
+Yes! You can use the same email address to create and join multiple teams. However, each one of these workspaces is on its own plan and needs to be upgraded individually.
